"Let's go to the Stock Exchange"

This year, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange once again has joined the traditional Global Money Week campaign, organised by the OECD. On Tuesday, 19 March 2024 at 9:00, the traditional educational webinar "Let's Go to the Stock Exchange" took place, aimed at high school and university students and anyone who wants to improve their financial knowledge. The aim of the event is to promote financial literacy and raise awareness of the importance of responsible behaviour and effective money management for a financially secure future. The event was extremely successful, with over 360 participants including students, teachers, professors, and other interested individuals from various educational institutions.

Global Money Week is a global campaign to raise awareness of the importance of young people becoming financially aware from an early age and gradually acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours needed to make good financial decisions and achieve a financially secure future. This year's campaign theme "Protect your money, secure your future!" focuses on safe money management and highlights the importance of a responsible and informed approach to personal finance, being aware of the potential risks in the financial sector and protecting your hard-earned money.
