Financial Conference Every year in May, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange hosts the Stock Exchange Conference, the central Slovene financial event highly recommended to all those dealing with finance, accounting, senior and middle management, and others interested in the Slovene capital markets.
Every year, the Conference features prominent experts from both Slovenia and abroad presenting topical issues; about 300 participants, invited guests and members of the press attend every year. The Conference is regularly attended by senior representatives of the Slovene financial sector, in particular those from financial institutions (such as the Securities Market Agency, Bank of Slovenia, Ministry of Finance, etc), funds, brokerage companies, banks and representatives of LJSE-listed companies, not to mention the most important Slovene media. Interesting debates among the lecturers and the participants often meet with a wide response also within the general public.

Venue The Ljubljana Stock Exchange Conference is annually held in one of the most beautiful Slovene tourist destinations, the maritime town of Portorož. Situated on the coast of the Adriatic Sea in the outermost part of the south-west of Slovenia, its Mediterranean climate provides for additional comfort of the Conference participants. In the air-conditioned conference halls of the Congress Centre in Grand Hotel Bernardin, every need of the participants and the lecturers is catered for.
