The Ljubljana Stock Exchange became a member of the SEE Link in the December 2016.

SEE Link is a project started by Bulgaria, Macedonia and Zagreb Stock Exchanges with the objective of creating a reagional infrastructure for trading of securities listed on those markets. The project is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The idea behind this cross border initiative is to integrate redional equities markets without merger or corporate integration, using only technology that will enable participating stock exchanges to remain independent yet complement and to allow investors an easier and more efficient approach to those markets through a local broker.

Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) and World Federation of Stock Exchanges - WFE

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the Slovene capital market both meet high standards of developed financial markets. In October 1997, the LJSE became the 50th full member of the World Federation of Stock Exchanges - WFE. In June 1999, it was promoted to associate member of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges - FESE together with the Warsaw and Budapest Stock Exchanges, and finally into full member on 1 June 2004, along with other stock exchanges from the new EU Member States. The Ljubljana Stock Exchange has also been very active on the markets of South Eastern Europe.

From 2009 to 2015, when the LJSE was a member of the CEE Stock Exchanges Group, it was represented through the Group.
